About Resettlement UK

The Vision

The Vision

Our vision is to influence national progression towards a step change in the design, development and delivery of specialist resettlement support services for young custody leavers.

Our intention is to help strengthen the essential local foundation stones - beginning with age appropriate accommodation provision and matching support - from which young custody leavers are able to access community based personal development opportunities capable of transforming their long-term outcomes.

The Leaving Care - Leaving Custody Campaign directs the focus of change towards local authorities and their duties towards young people returning from custody to the community.
